Orbital Sciences Corporation
The original logo of this DC-based aerospace company was simply “OSC.” The founder preferred the company be known as "Orbital" and my design was chosen for the company-wide rebrand. It was retired in 2017 when Northrop Grumman acquired Orbital for $7.8B.
Premiere Digital Services
Premiere's first logo was designed to invoke the founder’s initial desire for a brand image that implied they were established for decades. I chose a badge look with a classic font to avoid modish trends that might belie the young age of the company.
Cloud Ten Aerospace
Cloud Ten was developing a high-altitude long-endurance aircraft until a recent talent acquisition by another aerospace company. The logo is a multivalent design intended to invoke flight, the 5 major atmospheric layers and air-to-ground scanning/data transmission.
